Some people have it tough in life. Like how turtles have it tough. Once they are hatched on the beach, they struggle to the sea, avoiding predators on land. And eventually, they eat plastic and die. Please use reusable bags.

Some people suffer indignities, a certain violation of their being.

Some people suffer for the sins of the father. Immediately, the issue of fairness comes to mind. Who sinned, this man or his parents? Perhaps sometimes, the answers are not so obvious. And not so satisfactory.

Nevertheless, suffering exists. It has (almost) always existed. When do we think about the issue of suffering? When we suffer? When we see thousands of people dying? When we encounter one less fortunate than us?

Perhaps we should give more thought to suffering. And go nuts.
