It's time to slow down, to smell the real oh-two, instead of the cloud of intoxication that springs from the farce of mind. My mind.
Stall-count for today? Three. I can just sense the schumie in me...
Don't you just love football? It's the one greatest tool to unite all mankind, it is the tie that binds. I mean, instead of scraping your glance across the repulsive face of that bad ass that sits directly across your desk, you now instinctively greet him with 'hey so what's the score?' in the morning. What a great way to start a conversation, to break down the walls. You can now share your tragedies and heartaches in life with the declaration of how much you lost over england's lacklustre performance the night before. Yes, all this and more, with people you never knew existed.
Going back to camp in the morning is getting increasingly difficult. The fact is, i never know what to expect in the office, and yet, at the very same time, am convinced that my work is nothing but the epitome of the routine life. When shawn asked me for advice on how to be the little green man, i find myself doubting every word i say. Ok, perhaps i spoke with a little bit more conviction on the atrocities of national service, but well... It's not a problem with ns life, it's a problem with life itself. Uh huh, so where have i heard this before...
I wanted to sleep really early today, and perhaps face tomorrow with a fresher outlook on erm, everything. But i find myself hopelessly drawn back to the production factory, churning out toxicdonuts. 'It's healthy to keep a blog'. But i've really been using it as a stage to screw my own mind.
Everybody's busy nowadays. Everybody loves to tell others that they're busy. Am i one of them? I guess so. Do you feel more secure when you're busy? I certainly do. Seems like i'm falling into the same old trap. Here's what i posted on my first blog, dated 310501: 'all my life, my worth is defined by what i can do...how busy i am...how many hours i spend a week slogging for sj, for church...for wad? someone tell me...wad measures the worth of a man? that's who i am...as sick as it is...that's how i'll live thru my teenage years ...'
Hmm seems like toxicdonuts isn't exactly my first blog, managed to dig out old posts on my livejournal account. 80 posts, in about a year. It's a joy to read. Especially when you find yourself writing kickass quotes like "The day i read about the harmful effects of drinking, i quit reading".
Check this site out www.themanwhofellasleep.com/gossip.html. Thanks zero.
Hey if you think you are weird, i'd offer you a free membership to any of my prevalent social circles, and yes, no hidden clauses. You guys probably already know how weird nlc fellas can be, but i realised my camp is full of weirdos too. And for a good laugh, just dig up any old saf documents for endless hours of fun-filled entertainment.
